Stories for a Celebration

The Day of the Dead (Spanish: Día de Muertos) is a day of remembrance, a time for gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died, and help support their spiritual journey. In honor of this day, we want to hear your memories. Please submit your stories, memories, songs, prayers, love and anything that you wish to share about someone that you have lost. These will be read on the air during our event November 2, 2018! You can submit these by November 1st to our Sarahah at

Only a few more days to submit your memories, stories, well wishes or whatever you will for those that have been lost. These will be pre-recorded and played on the air during our event November 2, 2018! We have already received some but are open to any and all. Please send these to our Sarahah at

There will also be a standing memorial in the graveyard in the city at Larch and 50th. Please join us on November 2nd, bring a candle and celebrate the memory of those you love.
Please respect those that are gathered, as The Graveyard and the eight blocks surrounding it are considered non-fighting areas. Don't be an ass!

Thank you to everyone who took the time to join us on Friday night for this event. This was more than just another event, this was a night to remember, celebrate and connect with those that have departed but are never forgotten. We hope this was a magical night for just that. We appreciate those who paid their respects at the graveyard, at the alter and at the event.

Thank you to the PLL and KRKN staff for the support, to our DJ Ember and to Amora who really put in countless time and effort to make this a special night.

As always, we appreciate your feedback and comments which can be made directly to any staff member or to our Sarahah.

The alter will be up for a few more days, if you did not get a chance to stop by, please do. It's never to late.
